Behold the possible future... This is an MMOFPS alpha (althought its 3rd person ala Tabula Rasa) that plays pretty nicely. Everyone has jet packs, but apart from that it seems a nice 3rd person mash of tf2 frantic multiclass combat. I recommend you all take a look and stick your names down for alpha! link to the site: http://globalagen...Index.html |

Interesting, thanks. I'll put my name down, me ears always perk up when I hear MMOFPS...Even though this is 3rd person, might be cool. Still waiting on an adequate update on Planetside... |

Closer to planetside is Welkin 4591. It uses some new version of the planetside engine, and is currently using a lot of the PS graphics as placeholder. THis is much more a MMOFPS with 3-way empire battles with vehcles, aircraft (all hover stuff), maxs and people. check out Azure Twilight (a planetside outfit) that are acting as english speaking liasons for the China based game. http://www.azuret...x.php?home you can also get a key code for alpha testing on Global Agenda there too. |

From the ToS: "You represent and warrant that you are eighteen (18) years of age or older, and are not a principal, employee, agent, independent contractor, officer or director of a developer or publisher of video or computer games (other than Hi-Rez). You further represent and warrant that you are not a principal, employee, supplier, independent contractor, officer or director or of any entity that participates either directly or indirectly in the sale of in-game items, including but not limited to, in-game currency, avatars, armor, or weapons, whether these sales are to other users or to a third-party." The 18 part's understandable (as if that's gonna stop me), but not being able to apply if you're part of a game development company? Eh? |

I think because it's still in testing. Not really sure. It seems to be a total TF2 knockoff, which I like. Hell, the first part of the Trailer was so lol. Engineer building the sentry, someone decloaks, stabs the engi and then places sapper on the teleporter. I was like wtf. And here are some classdescriptions, which made me wtf more: Assault - This heavy weapons specialist is clad in the thickest armor available, allowing for a sustained presence on the open battlefield while laying down a withering barrage of explosive firepower. Robotics - By using the latest technology to gain the upper hand, the engineer is able to defend strategic points with turrets and forcefields or press forward by using remote control combat robots. Medic - The medic strikes an effective balance between distributing regenerative effects to keep companions alive and unleashing nightmarish toxins on unfortunate enemies. Recon - Stealth and speed are the main allies of the recon agent, who also uses subversion and misdirection to confound an enemy force while executing lightning fast ambushes against individual opponents. I'd play it. TF2 in serious team play. Edited by Rofl teh cake on 29-01-2009 17:20 |

You can spec all later on, its the same as the cert system in planetside in that way. But you can only have so much equiped at a time. So you have to choose between sniper/scout/spy. Oh, and it wasnt a sapper, it was a timed mine |

Forgot that I got sent an invite and I've only just installed it Looks pretty awesome. Havn't tried any actual missions yet, just the practice missions. Only things I don't really understand is the whole agency/alliance thing. Anybody from Ci in the alpha/beta? Spotted some 58th members on the GA forums but that's it.
