Well, mine is. X) Very good videos, but I for one figured out most of those techniques by myself, but something like the stair-leaping-stab is new. X) Nevertheless, that OMFGNINJA is a magnificent spy, his example of the cap of well while loads of sentries were around was incredibly good, lots of patience and concentration wasted there. But getting so close to decloak is very risky, especially when good players are around, because they also can hear that sound while yer decloaking, so here, I'll just question the skill of the players, which he killed. Does Sun-Tzu play TF2? His quotes pretty much fit in perfect. Edited by Rofl teh cake on 19-07-2008 19:22 |

... and then he used his fight money to buy two of every animal and then he herded them onto a boat and then he beat the living crap out of them. |

Wasn't that Samson? Not bad video, knew all the techniques except the illusion which but can't pull them off as well since I don't play spy too often. He can't hit a barn wall with that revolver though. Those people he's killing are quite sucky though, stalking surely doesn't work, people have headsets! Vs the demoman in video 2 I think it was he got hit and his cloak would have flickered but the demo didnt notice. Then the random guy inthe last video asking how to spin his minigun! He didn't mention a vital distraction method though, sap the teleporter entrances, you cut off supply lines and also the engineer occasionally will run back to replace it leaving an unguarded sentry. |

yeah a few (but not too many) of the ppl he was up aganist werent that great (one vid had a guy asking how to spool up teh Heavy gun), but everything the video said was completly sound imo. Also I rate most of the CI server regulars very highly and yet alot of what he said is what i do, so it does work alot. One interestign thing he said was about stalking a pyro. Ive said before that pyros players are the worst for spy checking when they are running ot a target location (like a set of turrets they want to defend). There is this assumption that if you are a pyro the spys will run away from you and thats just not true, ive seen rofl, spaceboy and El pistoliaero (pardon bad spelling) picking a fight aganist a pyro and winning. good video anyway, nice find. Machiavelli > Sun Tzu any day of the week. This edition of the The Prince has to be the prettiest book I own. |

Egads! This is basically the best guide ever and now we're all gonna die Well, maybe not. There are some scary spies already on the CI server who do all of these already. Also, that guy at no point advocates the use of the pistol (maybe because his aim is terrible), so there's still hope! |

However, a master of his theories can remember and put them into practice! I have Machiavelli;s book - but I'm cheap and have it in my favourites here: http://etext.library.adelaide.edu.au/...index.html Edited by NaughtyMe on 19-07-2008 23:56 |

I'm reading sun-tzu's bit on spies and he doesn't even talk about the proper way to stab and sap, that's like basic spy stuff. Plus I don't think the people he was fighting have even PLAYED tf2 before. omfgninja's thing is better by far. |

Hey andy Random question, but can other players hear spies cloaking/uncloaking? I guess they can't, don't think I ever have. However you can see the slight whiff of smoke when a spy changes their disguise and cloaks, though no-one else seems to notice this :/ Oh and if you see floating water droplets then for gods sake shoot it. |

Yes, you can hear them cloak/unlocloak, so you dont want to do it nearby if their isnt something making a lot of noise (explosions, sentry shooting etc) as an engi, this is the reason you shouldnt constantly hit your wrench on stuff, as it might hide grippa decloaking behind you and feel free to call me andy, most people generally do |

Wah! I just rewatched meet the soldier and I was wrong! It was Sun-tzu! I've been quoting it wrong continually! And now I actually understand the "its called a Zoo" line!
