Not sure? It says its single and multiplayer demo, and demo available to non pre-ordered on the 11th of nov I think, and its gonna be deactivated on release, seems more like a beta version rather than demo with the deactivation thingy. Hopefully find out at 3:00pm but like all other valve release times, I wont be getting my hopes too high. |

Multiplay don't agree with the Matchmaking system: Quote As it stands right now we (Multiplay) see no benefit in supporting this game at all and unless this situation changes we do not intend to host any servers for it. We hope other GSP's will support us in this action. The MOTD ad block is of minor significance in comparison to the building a community around servers. This is the start of a slippery slope which once started down it will be hard to turn back. The community goodwill and hard work must not be taken for granted and pushed too far. Valve's success is in no small part due to the widespread availability of servers for it's games, the majority of which are funded and run by the community at large. To take away the community's ability to continue to run servers that they can build solid regular player bases around, will simply destroy the communities around the game and also significantly dent faith and goodwill in Valve as a company. While we wish Valve success with this game; their decision leaves us with no choice but to take this action in the hope that it will highlight how strongly we feel about the removal of direct join options from any game. Other game host websites are starting to do this as well. I hope Valve can take a hint. |

Also dont be surpised if valve dont release the SDK for L4dead + other games in the future. The horror of the tf2 addons is a thorn in valves side and created a major headache for them. L4D might have certain plugins added but these will be sent to valve and then released to all servers as a option. |

I'm probably not going to get this game until Christmas and I'm not entirely sure I understand what you're going on about. Can someone explain it for the thick shit please? |

The xbox 360 uses matchmaking alot. You join a party/lobby and then go out and search for a server or other players to start a game. |

Yeah matchmaking usually includes matching people of the same level ( xbox) however this usally fails as usually lvl1 players are up against lvl50 players
