You need the fringe seperated a bit more, rather than it being one whole sweeping fringe. Grow it out before you try getitng that. I used to have my hair like the picture you have up top. I had to grow my fringe out first (meaning you're able to part it rather than it being one whole fringe as ive said) Then you can trim the one side. If you look the right side (the right side of the picture that is) has the longer bit of the fringe swept over. On the left its still fringe but not as long, its done more choppy. Then the bit hanging down the forehead is whats left of the fringe after parting it. Sadly, as said, Japanese cuts never look quite as good on westerners. They tend to look either goth or emo. It all depends if you had the face for it really. Im lucky in that respect cos of my cheekbones If you want to get the the right texture (as in whats in the picture) try 'Small Talk' in the Bedhead range by Tigi and a hold spray that dries without looking wet. A sort of 'Matt' finish. If you want shine Bedhead also have a prduct called After Party. Its supposed to be used when your in a rush and dont have the time to wash your hair again, but i use/d it after washing to give it a shine without looking wet/greasy. You can get both on ebay for really cheap. Dont ever buy them from a salon. Hope it helps =) Edited by mrbreckles on 28-04-2008 22:27 |
