How to 'split' music downloads?

Just downloaded a cd from somehwere... and it is a whole album put into 1 big track! I know this is quite common, so how do I convert that single 2 and a bit hour long track into a series of files?:rol:

Its a long mp3 or a lossless?

Does it have a cue file?

it's just a 200mb, 2 hr long mps.

you have two hours worth of music on punch cards? get the scissors out and you will soon have those punchcards down to size..

if you get some regular music files such as mp3's you can turn the one track into a wav/cda file burn to an image then use a ripper such as the one built into nero to detect the gaps and re-rip to mp3..
