In the last month I've started getting high ping to most TF2 servers. The only servers I get constant good ping for are INX-gaming and some of the pickup servers. When I ping servers using the command prompt I get good ping but in the steam server browser and in game they're still high. My ISP has no idea what could cause it and my line seems to have no problems, I found no viruses or spywares and have no other program running and no other computer on the network. Any idea what could cause this? |

Looks like you tried most stuff already. Do you have a connection config? maybe a recent TF2 update doesn't like your config, try with no tweaks. Since i got rid of my config my connection in TF2 has been much bette  r
if only i had something funny or clever to put here........

are you pinging & playing ok on some tf2 servers?

I tried that and tracert, the server that bumps it up is local but my isp has no idea what it is, they just claimed 200 ping to europe is normal and tried to sell me some bullshit gamer pack.
