Im goign to need a replace my existing medusa 5.1 headset/mic combo with a new headset. Im only really looking for the 5.1 or 7.1 headset, need to be good quality as i get alot of use out of them and im wondering if anyone has any suggestions? Had a quick look at the logitech 7.1 and the a razor 5.1 (which really need a razor soundcard to get the most out of the brand). Does anyone have any suggestions for others to look at? ive always loved the zalman 5.1, i found the medusa just to cheap and tinny. logitech ones look nice but i dont want another bit of software running that i really dont need.. |

Ive got the Audio FX Pro 5.1 headset. It actually supports 7.1 now because of a driver/software update. Also, has forcefeedback. Lovely when those nades and rockets are firing, or the roar of the flamethrower, chug of the heavy gun...you get my point. Good quality mic too. http://www.edimen...cts_id=122 |

Ooow forcefeedback sounds sexy  Does it not get distracting or add to the fatigue of playing for a long time? (I'm imagining having extra mechanisms crammed into the ear cups could make the headset heavier than usual).

the new version of fatal1ty headset version 5.1 dobly digital hd should be out soon, thats what im looking forward to, dont know about you thou, id recomend it to you  |
