G card Update
Raven
Was thinking when i get next set of student money was gonna upgrade my graphics card as my 8600gt is getitng on a bit:

i was either gonna get a Geforce 9800gt

http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/pr...GT1GB.html

or a beggining geforce GTS 250

http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/pr...501GB.html

is it worth spending the extra tenna to get a beginning GTS card or spend it on a high end 9800gt?

if you have any other recommendations let me know was gonna spend around the 80-120 quid range

A GTS 250 i think is just a re-badged 9800GTX+ which is a die-shrunk/revised 9800GTX (Confused?)Frown

But to answer your Question yes its worth a tenner moreRoll

I found one for a lot lessRock
Clocked a lot fasterRock But you have to burn the WOW Trial

I'm using an Asus Gigabyte HD4850, 1 GB Memory, and i'm very pleased with it. For only about 150 euro's (dunno what it is in British pounds) you have one already, also to be combined with other Asus GFX cards Smile A decent G card for a nice price

Oh just thought if you have 2 PCi-E slots in your mobo you can use the old 8600 as a dedicated PhysX cardGrin
