... won't be here but I want to ask you guys for a favour. Grin

You see, I have to hand in something and I want someone, who is going to be the bad assest mothefucker in the world to correct the grammar and vocabulary and whatnot or even replace sentences with posh english, so that it sounds like my feces are talking RP. Please, that would be really nice, this thing is very important to me, even if you only correct bits of it, this would even make me happy.

1.One of the reasons why we picked rugby is that we both are very keen on sports and when we discussed about what subject to pick, we both instantly agreed that it has to do with sports.
When we went through a list of popular sport in Ireland in the internet, we found rugby and several videos. We were both amazed, Rugby is a very rough sport with alot of physical contact.
The players are wearing little to no safety gear, which made it even more astonishing to us. Another reason is that the gameplay is heavily based on teamwork. Rugby is a team sport, alone, you would never make it to the goal of your opponents, only with your team mates help. Of course alot of sports are based upon teamwork, but if you see the players perform a "Maul", everyone will understand why Rugby captivated us, since we both enjoy sporting activities focusing on team play alot.

2. We are going to begin with the history of Rugby, where we will talk about the early history of Rugby, how Rugby was born. Then we will tell something about how rugby came to Ireland, who played it in the early years , what the Irish thought about Rugby at the beginning and how popular it is in the presence. After that, we are going to talk about the rules and how to play it, we are also going to show some videos of the gameplay to give them an idea how a rugby match is played. At the end, we will talk a bit about the IRFU, the Irish Rugby Football Union.

3. These are the questions we are trying to solve:

1. What is the history of Rugby?
2. How did Rugby come to Ireland?
3. What is the image of Rugby in Ireland?
4. How do you play Rugby?
5. What is the IRFU?

4. One of our main objectives is to impart our knowledge about rugby in Ireland in a coherent way, but still very detailed. At the same time we are trying to make this as interesting as possible, for example with the use of media and some fun facts. We want to make this lecture special, so that they don't forget it as soon as they go home.

5. Our source is mainly going to be the internet, since the topic is very specific, it would take alot of time to find books closely relevant to the subject "Rugby in Ireland".

http://en.wikiped...in_Ireland
http://www.dochar...n-ireland/
http://en.wikiped...rish_Rugby
http://www.irishr...b21948c753

For now, these are our temporary sources. During our investigation probably further sources will be added.

6. In order to make this lecture special, we are going to try to use media, like a PC with Powerpoint, but we are paying attention to the fact that this might distract too much and the people are going to concentrate only on what the computer delivers. Therefore we will try to keep the information with Powerpoint "short and sweet", so that they can understand our train of thought, while the most important things are going to be orally transmitted.

(There's never really a good time to use 'oral'.).

alot is not a word, a lot is 2 words Wink also, if you capitalise rugby once, then it must always be capitalised, keep it consistent.
Not too sure about the underlined part, I know what you are trying to day, but I think one could probably phrase it better than I have done.
bolded the bits I have changed, but the bold font isn't all that obvious...

Arigatou to both of you. Even if the content is utter shit, I think the corrected grammar will be making up for that. kiss

Do NOT capitilise rugby - Rugby is a place, rugby is a game.

I should add that Powerpoint presentations can be a very powerful tool. Slides should always be brief - talk around the bullet points.

Do not randomly capitalise rugby, plenty of situations where it should be, if you're talking about almost any of the governing bodies like the IRU it probably should be Pfft

1. We chose rugby, we are both frightfully keen on ruggers, when discussed the subject matter gave us both a raging hard on, we instantly agreed that we must undertake a study of rugby.

We focused initially upon popular sports in Ireland, found some videos on YouTube of some very manly Gaelic rugby players. Roger & I, were both amazed! Rugby looked a very rough sport with lots of physical contact. The players did not seem to be equipped with "Jock Straps" which made it even more astonishing for us, the game play is heavily based on cupping each other!

Rugby is a team sport, alone, you would never make it to the goal of your opponents, only with your teams help will you make it back to the showers. If the players ever perform a "Maul", you will understand why Rugby captivated us, since this occurred, we have both enjoyed man sports that are focused on teamwork.

2. We are briefly going to cover the origins of rugby through until the modern day game, presenting a demonstration using a simulation of the actual game.

3. These are the questions we are trying to solve:

a. What is the history of Rugby?
b. How did Rugby come to Ireland?
c. What is the image of Rugby in Ireland?
d. How do you play Rugby?
e. What is the IRFU?

(Drink Tea shuffle papers look uncomfortable and look at the clock, before going to next step)

4. Our primary source of information will be the Internet, since the topic is very specific, it would take alot of time to find books related to Rugby in Ireland.

For now, these are our temporary sources, during our investigation we may try using google again.

5. In order to make this lecture special, we are going to try to dazzle with technical speak & show you shiny things, which look like they should have cost a lot of money, like a PC with Powerpoint Smile

Loves and hugs (<-- Not a good idea to put this in an essay ) but how about a hand job or a tenner for an A+ (ps my sister is quite hot, failing that theres always my mum)

Ahh, but you are stating an initialism which is a title of an asscoiation. Titles are proper nouns and therefore capatilised. If you had read as I wrote, then I am correct.

You are arguing semantics.

Well please respond to this - I am being neurotic - I made my last level only 64 posts ago.

Handy hint - shoutbox is your friend.

Shout box is something I rarely do, spamming it would feel cheap and odd. Let us know how things went Cake. Cool

We'll find out. This is actually only one part of something very big. Even My Abiturgrades, which are something like the A-Level grades depend on it. And I still got about 1 and a half year for my Abitur. We'll see, in the meantime more Grammarrequests will be made, kthxbye.
