Set Affinity

So currently running on my laptop which is a duel core and I want to set affinity for some of my programs. (for shits and giggles as much as anything else) However every time I do it in task manager it resets by my next boot up and I really can't be bothered to do it every single time I switch on, any ideas why this is happening?
I am running on Vista for some unknown reason and have a suspicion that the people who did the software install on this have created a situation where I can't set myself as the absolutely highest authorized user profile. Sad
Any help would be welcome, thanks in advance Smile

You change the shortcut by adding what's in there to the beginning of the shortcut.

Only £12.99 with free trial might be worth a try.

Have used Ashampoo stuff before always been quite good, Burning Studio 6 which is now available free.
