I'm interested in buying a laptop, but I know fuck all about them in terms of manufactures and components, so I need some advice on what a decent one should have. I'm not looking for something high end, one that can run tf2 on decent settings will do just fine. |

Ive just recently got a laptop a Dell Inspiron good piece of kit from dell starting price £369 but can be customised to improve performance http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/pro...l=en&s=dhs Got Steam and tf2 installed on it and works a treat Not a whizz on spec but should have: Dual Core 2-3gbof Ram Geforce card (Geforce Go 8600gt) Just to get started sure more computer whizzes will give better detail than me Edited by Raven on 21-08-2008 23:55 |

Thanks Raven. Though so far all the models I can afford have the Geforce 8400M GS, is there a big difference? |
