better cancel your preorders for MW2, no dedicated servers for it, they will introduce something like a matchmaking system, because they think pc players will enjoy playing like console players. Idiots. I think I'll just pirate it and play the single player. |

there is a whole lo of anger out there on the internet at the moment towards IW for this. it was already a console port so this is hardly unexpected in my books. this is the funniest forum page i've found so far http://www.modernwarfare2.com/forum/v...4&t=125310 36 pages of clans saying none/very few of their members will be buying it! well done to IW for killing the clan scene. more tf2 anyone? |

I found this: Quote dont take no notice of the other reviews people moaning about the server issue, it's the people who wants to cheat and hack kicking up a stink i for one is glad of the way this game is going to be, get used to it it's the future, on modern warfare 1 its not easy to join a good game with no cheats and getting kicked just because the "regulars" on that server gangs up on u and kicks u. now everyone can have a fair game. and just think no punkbuster!!!!! so to all the selfish reviewers marking this game 1 star get a life only because u can no longer cheat & hack dont mean millions of other people is not going to enjoy the game for what it is. I might buy it anyways

I think the VAC can help against the cheats, but I much prefer tf2's server broswing over L4D's matchmaking. Sure l4d can have it work in that way since theres either a max of 4 or 8... but you don't really get a choice on community. It's dependant on you already having friends! |
