The back burner looks like its really overpowered, gives a pyro more health than a solider a chance for 100% crits which makes it easier to get crits when someone does turn to face them and only has the drawback of something the pyro didn't used to have. I suspect it will be nerfed rather soon since the effect of 1 pyro behind a team is way too devastating right now. |

i don't agree with you Krakyn, sure (some) pyros do well atm cause people are not used to their new tactics but 50 more hp isn't much of a difference and unlike soldiers, pyros rarely have a medic healing them. I think the pyro is now just the way it was supposed to be, deadly at close range if you are sneaky and still powerless at medium/long range. Btw, the effect of one spy behind a team is quite devastating too (pyros have hp and spies have cloaking). These are supposed to be ambush classes and i think that's what the update did. |

I have to agree with vadoom. The reason the backburner feels so powerful right now is because of the sheer amount of pyros that there are. When it calms down, back to 1 or 2 pyros on a team, they will have to resort back to being stealthy, and the 100% crit chance is the pyros reward for having to get in close. |
