Seriously? Vista screws up AA, or just with XAC? I'm regretting choosing vista over xp more and more lol. I only got it because my card can (supposedly) use dx10, but I've yet to see any real improvements in any games  And yeah, a couple more of those garrys mod pics would be sweet if you have any more decent ones  |

heh, I should have specified that I havent seen any real improvements in games *I've* tried. Just the orange box and bioshock lol. I haven't noticed any options for dx10 in the orange box, and in Bioshock I could only see a small difference in some detail when I toggled the option on and off. |

umm... u can't do the orange box in dx 10 can you? yeah, there isn't a great difference at the moment, but dx 10.1 is much better. depends what GPU u got as well? drivers are not great for anything dx 10 wise atm |

Which graphics card are you having issues with? The ATI X1950 will never do hardware dx 10 as much as you would like it too, software mode only for you! I can see drivers being a real issue with the hundreds of dx 10 titles out there.. |

@ me? I'm not having any issues with drivers, I do know I can't run dx 10 lol. I was making a general comment that drivers for DX 10 and 10.1 cards are not great atm... and the game developers are not helping a huge amount either. Card manufacturers and game developers need to work more closely with each other IMO |

It's ok, the AA thing got patched out, sorry. Just been informed by one of the r5 guys (who also happens to be the guy that ED pay to code the XAC software)....it's how I can cheat and get away with it  But yeah basically it used to freeze my game up every time it took a screenie for like 2/3 seconds at a time, but only if I had AA on...strange eh? Then again that was only during a recent beta test I was doing for them, I just got confused, sorry for the false alarm! All patched out and fixed now. I got the AA freeze on thestandard XAC download. You can fix it by disabling AA in game, and enabling it in you're gfx control panel  |
