i would guess theres a pyro hand because its easier to use than trying to edit the l4d logo, it's tf2 related and its the second set of lovely coconuts and if you're quite done trolling eachother, BRING IT ON |

Yeah... can't we have a cultured debate about this artistic work rather than simply dismissing it as a "gaming poster". It's quite obvious to me that the Pyro's Hand is an allegory for the war in Iraq, what with the link between oil and the burning petrol in his flame thrower - and the fact his hand is showing 'two' representing the two Iraqui wars. Now, the palm tree... well, the palm tree is a common symbol for peace and hope. It seems what Naughty has created is a very subtle anti-war piece, using symbolism derived from games. War is just a game people!! |

It's also more than possible that the "2" depicts the hope for a final 2 state solution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict as supported by the pyro (who,as an aggressive and unapologetic oil burner naturally represents the US) leading to a promised land of peace and prosperity depicted here as an idyllic palm tree filled paradise. The depth of geopolitical allegories contained within such a simply composed piece is a joy to behold. Bravo Naughty! Bravo I say! |
