Ugh, it looks horrible. Visually, I mean. The specs are amazing, but the card itself looks a bit overpolished.

I'm also quite suprised at the power consumption, I expected it to be waaay over 500 watts.

That was a picture of engineering sample they nearly always look ugly, the real deal should look a bit better Smile

does the 'big 8800gt take up 2 expansion slots then? or some sort of deformed card

Abunai
8800gt are single slots

8800GTS/GTX/Ultra are 2 slot

Im between

BenQ V2400W

I spent 5 years learning spanish, so I should be able to translate at least some of it....aah who am I kidding? Cool

Tinger
I would say it depends what inputs you want

BenQ has D-Sub / DVI-D / HDMI /

but is not as bright only 250cd/m2

The dell has 400 cd/m 2

but only has Analógico, DVI-D (Digital) con HDCP

CenTinela
HDMI can be changed to DVI-D, is that correct??

btw, i wont use hdmi soon, atm is only for pc (i wont have ps3 or xbox), but maybe an external video HD.

Looks like I may go for the Hazro HZ24Wi 24" which is SIPS Panel, its only taken me a month or so to get this far grr do I not like the overly complicated tft market its easier to spec & build the rest of the PC than deal with a TFT panel Shock

BTW the page mostly has the details for the old version the HZ24W so some of the spec has improved

tmi very nice but big cash
if only i had something funny or clever to put here........

sick-lizard
although expensive its the cheapest SIPS panel around & has half the input lag of the DELL (2408WFP S-PVA panel) and dosen't cost that much more (£381.86 inc VAT vs £458.24 inc VAT).. I did shudder a bit when I looked at the 26inch versions price of £587.49 inc VAT Moon

Fionny
If i were you id hold onto one of the 8800's and use it as a physics card!

Very interesting thread. It seems I shall be upgrading my old TFT monitor very soon now :3

I went and brought the BenQ V2400W 24" Widescreen screen. I havent tested it out much with other games but playing TF2 on the new sexy screen is amazing Shock Thats for this post guys :3
