Went heavy, saw scout rushing towards me, gun started spinning, but then that ball hits my head. He charges in, gets his Force a Nature, shoots me twice point blank AND THERE YOU GO. DEAD HEAVY, DIED AGAINST A CLASS HE WAS SUPPOSED TO DOMINATE. |

The new sounds are only for the scout. Let's hope they make that for the others classes too. After some matches its really annoying to play against scouts. It's not only the stunning but also when you get hit by the FaN you are a moment unnable to move or aim, its just like a mini stun. Really annoying. But overall its more useful that i had thought.... The ability to stun normal ubers is flat out wrong and is going to see the sandman banned from competitive tf2 in all likelihood. If you're a heavy walking along on your own with the minigun out you deserve to get owned tbh, you could have avoided it if you had just had your own shotgun out. |

Its not hard now for a bunch of scouts to know when a medic/s are ready to start the charge for a knockout push to get past a choke point. Great reason for having a choke point is that the OP team has to work together to use a uber well. But on the plus side a none double jumping scout is so easy to kill now by most class am sure the = measure will be felt over time. If a scout does nt cut it in the team it very much felt by the other classes as they are picking up its slacking. |

Sandman definitely needs some tweaking, though I've had some of the best fun on tf2 in ages running after baseballs in the past few days Long-distance stun + fan doubleshot is pretty satisfying really. Stunning someone and letting a sniper on your team take them out is pretty amazing too lol. They really need to remove it on ubers though, far too easy to hit an ubered medic/heavy etc. |

Yeah I don't really have an issue with the sandman apart from it affecting ubers which just seems excessive. I mean being stunned normally is annoying, but I can take that (especially when the number of scouts running around decreases to more normal levels), but messing with something as crucial to the dynamic of the game as ubers doesn't strike me as a great idea. I also find it odd that they introduced Egypt/Junction in the same update as the sandman as these are both defence biased maps anyway and pretty much require an uber to break choke strangleholds... which now has a very low chance of succeeding with all the baseballs flying around. |
