HOORAY FOR SCOUTS AND SPAH. Added The Force-A-Nature, The Sandman, and Bonk! Added 35 new Scout achievements Added crit boosted on/off sound effects Added new sounds for upgraded teleporters Added new sound for a fully charged medic dying Add bonus points section to scores Scouts earn a bonus point for killing Medics who are actively healing a target Added several new speech concepts, mostly hooked up to new Scout lines Added new "Remember last weapon between lives" option to the Multiplayer Advanced dialog Spies can now control which weapon the enemy team sees them holding. Hitting the "last disguise" key while disguised updates the disguise to show the Spy's currently held weapon Added several new Arena mode announcer speech events. Damn i have to say im gonna achievement farm for the first gun if it goes this bad. Soooo many scouts its impossible to get any achievements besides the double jump one. |

Very glad they fixed 'facestab', but spy just got a major buff with being able to swap weapons as that for me was the main way of catching out a spy - going to be carnage now, as if I didnt hate them enough already! Oh and ... "Spies disguised as enemy team can now see player IDs for enemies" Agrippa is going to be hunting for me |

For me the main tell for spies is, and always has been, the health thing.. as much as I like this change I'm not convinced it'll make THAT much difference on its own. Also the main reason anyone wanted to see player ids was to know who you were disguised as and be able to avoid them.. but if they haven't added so that you know that too then.. ummm.. dunno how advantageous it's going to be ... apart from when stalking Fens Also bit surprised that no valve map came out.. I guess that's why they had to pad out the info updates with 2 posts for the community maps Still, given that they've basically leaked what the map is from the Bonk! background it can't be that far off being completed.. I hope the next update is released quicker than this one was Oh hey I just tried out the backstabbyness to check what they did.. no more backstab animation! Yeah felt kinda cheated that the last entry was just the vote results. The new gun is awesome again filling a little niche I think. Triple jump with it is incredibly useful for flanking, the double shot doesn't always kill so you're diving in and out of the action far more rather than trying to reload under fire. I find myself using the FON to repel people up in the air and bat them as well afterwards..pyro practice has been good. Still 3 achievements off the sandman though.. both the other items seem useful but what you lose makes it a choice you need to take seriously Pistol for antisentry (especially with the FON equipped) or bonk to run past it. Sandman to stun the uber or normal bat for actually dodging stuff. |

YES! Finally Wasn't that common but you'd get the hit noise and even send the person flying but not get a crit. Annoying since usually you're using it to finish off an enemy that needs to die quickly. |

I played Heavy for a little while last night and it's like being back to zero in terms of his ability. I know there are loads of Scouts at the moment which is swaying things a little bit. But the Heavy is just a magnet now - he's slow and a large target. The Scout can get close and although the stun is quite short any wind up on the chaingun is wiped out by the stun. Ubers are also fucked. You try and destroy a little sentry nest as an ubered demo - upblast from Pyros I can take, but to be stunned in an invulnerable state is just stupid. The moment your stunned not only does every single player pile on you (demos lay nice little sticky nests around your feet!) but you are left vunerable to the very nest you were about to destroy. That only takes 1 little Scout to fuck you over... I could take the stun occasionally during normal play (apart from the Heavy), but an UBER - get the fuck out of it!
