My old machine is arse and now I want to get a new one. I am a total noob concerning computer, so I am asking the all knowing community of Ci for advice. Devilz Slave already gave me some really good tips, but this huge ass electronic chain here has a special offer. So, basically, I can decide between those 2 desktop pcs: Packard Bell iMedia X 5500GE and 7600 5500: Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q8300 ( 2,5 ghz, 4 mb L2 Cache 1333 MHz FS  4k Ram 1 TB Harddrive Nividia Geforce GT 120 with 1k ram Vista Home Premium 64 bit Version for 600€ 7600: Same Processor 6144 MB Ram 2 TB Harddrive Same Vista Geforce GT130 with 1536 MB VRAM for 800 or the one Devilz Slave created for me (Specs are mostly written in german, but I think you'll get it.) So do you want to buy a pc with a limit around 600-800€? Alright, we germans have captured this thread, it is now ours. Okay, ja, Ähm. Ich hab eigentlich nur die oben genannten PC's zur Auswahl, sonst würd ich mir ja schon was anderes holen als son Media Markt PC, aber bei meinen Eltern steht halt mehr der Preis im Vordergrund und da wollt ich halt wissen welchen ihr nehmen würdet, wenn ihr müsstet. Und naja, ich will ja nicht mehr als L4D und TF2 auf sehr hübsch spielen. Oder sagt mir halt wieso ich die nicht holen sollte, vielleicht kriegt das meine Eltern um. Danke schonmal. Achja, Fefe, hast du dir L4D in Deutschland gekauft? Wenn ja, hast du die beschnittene Version? Die will ich auf keinen Fall.

it would be nice if you could translate some of the post, my german sucks ddr2 ram get the 1066 fsb stuff, costs not alot more & often means you can run your ram & cpu front side bus in sync giving better performance So far I like Nax's selections the best but if your an upgrader I would get a PSU with some more watts on, if your just going to run it into the ground until you get your next one then don't worry I Kill PSU's

Kay, translatiiiing. "Okay, yeah, uhm. Actually I can only choose between those PC's I mentioned, because my parents are cheapskates and bloody Mediamarkt is having some kind of blowout sale. And, meh, I only want to play L4D and TF2 on "This looks pretty good", not on OMG I CAN COUNT LOUIS HAIR, ISN'T HE BALD? FUCK YES YOU ARE THE BEST GRAPHICS EVER and I want to keep it simple, I don't want to buy lots of computer parts and put them together by myself and accidently break one of this on the back of the CPU. Or try to convince not to buy one of those. :3 and the rest of the post is about germany, being a dick and cutting L4D. The goddamn zombies disappear seconds after you shoot them and you can't dismember any bodyparts or make heads go pop. Na ja, die Auswahl von Nax is schon das Optimum. Was ich jetzt net versteh du kannst dich nur zwischen den beiden entscheiden, die du oben gepostet hast, oder hast du nur nen Limit von deinen Eltern gesetzt bekommen? that what nax posted is in my opinion the best you can get for the money. So what i didn't understand, can you chose only 1 of these 2 pcs or do you have only a cash limit from your parents? There can be a differnce between the german and the english text so nevermind

Ja, also, eigentlich wollte ih auf dieses JunilÄrmsangebot von Mediamarkt zugreifen, weil ich eigentlich alles selbstbezahlen soll und 700€ Krieg ich schlecht zusammen, muss man außerdem nicht die von Max selbst zusammenbauen? Ich hab Angst, dass ich dann irgendetwas Gerstier, wie zb einen der pins auf der rueckseite der cpu oder so... >< kthx, I have lurked in the internet and I found out that those pc's suck. Den Link hab ich angesehen, aber ich glaub du kennst es. Zu kleiner Geldbeutel, zu hohe Ansprüche. Jetzt überlege ich mir, da ich schon um die 300€ zusammen hab, meine Eltern anzupumpen, mein Geburtstagsgeld abzukassieren, meinen Bruder anzupumpen und so weiter und so fort. Wird schwer sein und meistens mit Bedingungen verknüpft sein, die unmÖglich sind, aber alles für nen guten Computer. |
