Once the mass playing hysteria dies down the pyro update should be fun, its one of the classes where the achievements will probably be as worth doing for the humor involved as much as the unlocks. Plus watching some of the better soldiers on the server juggle pyros for a few weeks is going to be great.

spy releted achievement for the pyro will be hard to get anyway 'cause everyone will steer clear of playing spy when the achievements are released.

lol I don't do achievment boxes(I have gained quite a lot in actual matches lol)... I do how ever like pyro quite a bit & like nothing better than seeing agrippa change class It will be intresting to find out what enhancements the load outs give I will probably play eng/medic more when the achievements hits as the medic whores nearly stopped me playing tf2 for a bit lol..

id be fairly disappointed in valve if they make the pyros unlocks spy catching weapons. The medic vampire gun was about exchanging damage over surviveablity compared to the orignial medic gun. The kritzs is the same thing but in reverse for the med beam. Each unlock changes how teh medic is used. If you then look at the pyro its fair to say that it doesnt need new ways to kill spys, it needs new ways to kill the other classes with the trade off presumably being less effective at spy catching. That said there will still be shed loads of pyros for about a month so yeah im screwed. |

Given that the main role of the pyro at the moment is to make everyone panic I really think that giving the pyro fire-grenades instead of a shotgun would make for some great fun. |
