why won't steam run from a network share its not really to much to ask

well not so much cpu.. but saves me installing it & Lan latency is sub 1 ms so run from there would gain nowt in speed but it would free my local disk to just page when needed when i run out of ram without needing to access the local disk for map changes etc

But it was manily cause i trash os's for fun so installing steam is painful if can just have network shortcut life would be easier Smile tbh I'm a being a whining little bitch as it only takes fuor mins to copy it over the network anyway.. but still why can't I do it lol
