Oh dear, oh dear , oh dear...... It all went downhill when they started charging for counter strike, so another nail in a what was a good company goes further downhill. Since they all ready admitted that the console version is packed and cant fit any more in this looks like they only way they can deliver more, but for PC this is nt really the case is it. Well seeing as they haven't updated the Source engine, maybe it will be an add-on. By the way those screenshots look like shit and worse graphically than L4D. I now loathe valve. More details here including a trailer. http://ve3d.ign.c...r-Released The game hasnt even been out for 6 months yet :/ Oh, and in the trailer theres a hillbilly tank with a tiny arm. This has blown away any remaining respect I have for Valve. First it was the TF2 unlocks which were unneeded in the first place. New maps and gamemodes would have been enough, why they felt the need to fuck around with the class balance is beyond me. L4D was disappointing, I only bought it because I knew other people on my friends list would be buying it. It got boring after a week AND it's still full of bugs AND the sdk still hasn't been released AND THE MOTHERFUCKING CHATBOX IS STILL BROKEN, 8 MONTHS AFTER IT'S RELEASED! Then there's the whole 1 euro = 1$ thing, the fact they they refuse to comment on it, never mind change it is infuriating. In all honesty, the only thing keeping me near steam etc, is this community and a few others. If everyone wondered off to Monopoly online or something then I'd probably go with them. Valve hasn't really done anything that's appealed to me since The Orange box got released. |
