What you can do with a Wii remote controler!!
Armacoast
The following ideas are from a student called Johnny Chung Lee from the Carnegie Mellon University USA. His ideas for what you can use a Wii Remote controler are really awsome. Sure you need a little technical interest to understand everything but you can build every project at home with his explanations!

The Homepage:http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~johnny/

One of his ideas:

Low-Cost Multi-point Interactive Whiteboards

You should take your time to read more of his projects on his homepage.

Hasn't a version of this been posted before? I frequent far too many forums I can't be sure Pfft
The system is nice but since I didn't have a spare infrared led, button and wiring and didn't have a clue where to buy singles of each I gave up.
can also configure the buttons on your wiimote to be anything as well as having the position aimed at on screen to be where your mouse cursor is. Great for controlling movies and stuff from across the room, playing mmos but I never got TF2 working since unless your cursor is dead center of the screen it will move the view continually

So many uses for a wiimote :3

I think the Head Tracking for Desktop VR Displays using the Wii Remote project that he has done is amazing.
